More information on donations

• The donor must be a real person (not a corporation, union, etc.), at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen, and must reside in the province of Ontario
• The maximum donation amount to a municipal candidate during the election period is $1,200
• Contributions to municipal election candidates are not tax deductible and do not generate a tax credit
